Job summary

Boys' Town in Singapore is seeking an enthusiastic staff member to assist and lead adventure-based programs for children and youth in need. You will facilitate workshops, mentor participants, and work with the BTAC instructional team to run outdoor activities, risk assessments, and event logistics.

The role may involve evenings, weekends, and occasional overseas expeditions, demanding physical fitness and strong safety awareness.

Qualifications

Minimum Diploma holder with good communications skills (spoken and written).
Passion for active sports or outdoor adventure.
SNCS/SNAS/SCF/SSI certifications with valid first aid.
Desire to work with children and youth, including at risk youths.
Experience in ice breakers, team building and problem-based activities.
Able to run activities like running, hiking, swimming.
Capable of leading local and overseas expeditions requiring trekking or paddling.

Responsibilities

Assist in adventure-based programs, workshops and related services as instructor or facilitator.
Facilitate programs for a wide range of clients and collaborate with BTAC staff.
Conduct programme recee with presentation and submit recee and forms.
Perform risk assessments for events and programmes.
Contribute to marketing of BTAC programmes when assigned.
Promote Boys' Town branding at internal and external events.
Ensure equipment and facilities are safe and functional.
Work evenings and weekends as needed to resource programmes.
Engage in ongoing professional development in adventure learning and client support.
