Get to Know the Role

We are looking for an Application Engineering (AE) Admin Assistant to assist our engineers in ensuring customer satisfaction, product compliance, and fast response to quality issues. You will work closely with various departments to support new product launches and address customer issues. This role requires good communication and interpersonal skills, as well as strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

Support daily activities operations related to customer quality, such as feedback and inquiries

Receive and log customer complaints, ensuring accurate and complete information

Support engineers to perform initial containment actions (e.g., identifying risky products, rework coordination)

Support root cause investigations together with Application Engineering and Quality Assurance Engineers

Assist in preparing 8D reports, corrective and preventive action documentation

Follow up on open issues to ensure timely closure

Assist in preparing customer quality reports (e.g., defect trends, SPC), monitor quality trends, and report non-conformances to engineers

Other Responsibilities

Assist engineers in customer visits by preparing and delivering required data and samples

Coordinate the testing and assessment of engineering samples

Skills and Competencies Profile

Required Qualifications:

NITEC / Diploma in any Engineering field, fresh graduates may apply, OR

1 – 2 years of relevant working experience in the semiconductor industry, or prior experience in related roles, is preferred

Technical Skills:

Proficient in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel

Basic knowledge of statistical or quality tools

Experience in quality documentation and proper filing / record organization

Soft Skills:

Strong team player with excellent communication and problem-solving skills

Strong ability to work both independently and as part of a cross-functional team

Additional Information

Office hour position

Able to work in a cleanroom environment and perform overtime as and when necessary
