Job summary

Applied Materials in Singapore is seeking a motivated professional to lead product application roadmaps and engage closely with customers. You will coordinate cross-functional teams across Product Development, Engineering, and Service to deliver advanced semiconductor process solutions.

The role demands strong communication, project management, and deep knowledge of CVD/PVD/Etch processes. Travel around 20% is expected as you support installations and customer ramp-ups.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor and higher in any related engineering and science field.
  • Familiar with the semiconductor process engineering field.
  • Knowledge of goof (good) understanding of process CVD/PVD/ETCH and process knobs.

Responsibilities

  • Lead product application roadmap for future solutions with deep understanding of customer technologies.
  • Technically lead difficult, complex application activities and team.
  • Interface with the customer regarding technical requirements analysis and schedule.
  • Define/approve Product application support plans for installation.
  • Create and lead new methodologies to optimize system performance for specific applications.
  • Analyze, develop and transfer new application capabilities within the system envelope.
  • Lead customer technical review meetings and ensure alignment across stakeholders.
  • Coordinate multiple stakeholders across Product Development, Engineering, Service, and Customer organizations.
  • Ensure successful product installations and customer ramp-ups and deliver measurable improvements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Through in-depth understanding of customer technologies and critical gaps, lead product application roadmap for future solutions

Key Education and Job requirements:
  • Bachelor and higher in any related engineering and science field
  • Familiar with the semiconductor process engineering field
Technical and Application Expertise:

Deep Understanding of customer process technology trends, and semiconductor manufacturing applications

Looking for goof knowledge in one of the process CVD/PVD/ETCH.

Knowledge to understand process sensitivity and key process knobs.

Customer Engagement

Ability to establish credibility as a trusted technical advisor to customers.

Strong communication skills to understand customer requirements and align solutions with business objectives.

Program and Project Management

Experience in understanding of Statements of Work (SOWs), project schedules, milestones, and resource plans.

Ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders across Product Development, Engineering, Service, and Customer organizations.

Strong execution focus with the ability to drive commitments and deliver results.

Technical Excellence

Deliver measurable improvements in system performance, process monitoring ability

Lead root‑cause analysis and resolution of critical customer issues for one of the applications ( CVD/PVD/Etch)

Establish and institutionalize best practices and application methodologies.

Teamwork and Collaboration

Demonstrates strong teamwork by fostering collaboration across cross‑functional teams, sharing knowledge openly, and contributing to a positive and productive work environment.

Builds effective working relationships with customers, peers, and stakeholders by promoting trust, mutual respect, and alignment toward common goals.

Execution and Business Impact

Meet committed project schedules, milestones, and deliverables.

Ensure successful application support plans for product installations and customer ramp‑ups.

Contribute to business growth through successful product adoption, customer retention, and expansion opportunities.

Publish papers internally and external, file patents
