Job summary

PRECIOUS ACTIVE AGEING PTE. LTD. is seeking a capable operations supervisor for its Active Aging Centre in Singapore. You will lead a team of support staff, coordinate daily centre operations and ensure safety and cleanliness for seniors.

You will plan and implement active ageing programmes, foster community harmony, and engage with seniors, caregivers, volunteers and partners. Strong interpersonal skills and a proactive mindset are essential.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of supervisory experience in eldercare or social service.
• Willing to oversee 3 centres.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills; dialect ability is a plus (e.g., Hokkien).

Responsibilities

• Manage, coach and supervise a team of support staff to ensure smooth operations of the Active Aging Centre.
• Oversee centre operations e.g. scheduling, documentation, cleanliness of workplace & senior safety.
• Plan and organise active ageing programmes that improve daily attendance at the centre.
• Ensure all senior activities promote a community climate of multi-racial tolerance, harmony and cooperation among residents.
• Perform community screening, befriend the elderlies, and support outreach activities or public education.
• Establish and maintain good relationships with stakeholders, seniors, caregivers, volunteers and the community.
• Plan, organise, implement, monitor and evaluate centre programmes, activities and events and maintain a regular activity calendar.
• Assist in sourcing and creation of activities to refresh resources or activities.
• Manage staff recruitment and training needs.
• Prepare reports for submission to AIC.
• Ensure cost effectiveness of centre operations and maintenance of equipment.
• Handle suppliers, vendors and contractors.
