Job summary

Singapore Anglican Community Services is seeking a dedicated staff member to support active ageing activities, befriending and community outreach at Block 426A Yishun Avenue 1. You will help run events for seniors and their caregivers and assist with data and health screening records to support our community-based programmes.

The role focuses on building connections with seniors, coordinating volunteers, and collaborating with local health ambassadors to promote healthy living and social

Qualifications

• Ability to engage with seniors and caregivers.
• Experience in elderly befriending is preferred.
• Diploma or equivalent educational background.

Responsibilities

• Assist Centre Supervisor to conduct active ageing activities and organize events for seniors and caregivers.
• Conduct community outreach and needs assessments to seniors within a designated service boundary.
• Provide befriending services and connect seniors to care services when needed.
• Collaborate with Healthier SG ambassadors and local community nodes for social and lifestyle interventions.
• Recruit and train volunteers to assist with activities and outreach.
• Perform administrative duties such as attendance, health screening records, client registers and data reporting.
