Job summary

BENSYL CONSULTANCY SERVICES PTE LTD in Singapore seeks an experienced accounting professional to manage the full set of accounts for diverse clients. You will conduct month-end closings, prepare management accounts, and deliver insightful financial reporting.

You’ll also mentor junior staff, supervise the team to ensure high-quality work, and provide expert financial management support plus client advisory on operations and reporting requirements.

Qualifications

• ACCA or Accounting degree or equivalent qualification.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience is advantageous.
• Good work ethic, initiative and willingness to learn.
• Mature personality with strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Full set of accounts management for multiple clients, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Perform month-end closings for several companies.
• Prepare monthly management accounts and reporting packages.
• Mentor and supervise junior associates to maintain quality.
• Provide financial management support and client advisory.
• Address accounting issues promptly and handle ad-hoc projects.

Tasks & responsibilities

• Full Set of Accounts Management: Independently manage the complete set of accounts for various clients, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Month-End Closings: Execute month-end closing processes efficiently for multiple companies.
• Management Accounts Preparation: Develop comprehensive monthly management accounts and reporting packages.
• Mentorship: Guide and mentor junior associates, fostering their professional growth.
• Team Supervision: Oversee junior associates to ensure high-quality work and achieve departmental goals.
• Financial Management Support: Assist in delivering expert financial management services to our clients.
• Problem-Solving: Address and resolve accounting issues promptly as they arise.
• Client Advisory: Provide clients with insightful advice on finance operations, accounting systems, and reporting requirements.
• Ad-Hoc Assignments: Tackle special projects and assignments as needed.

Qualifications & experience

• ACCA/ Degree in Finance, Accountancy or equivalent qualification.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience will be advantageous.
• Good work ethic, initiative, keen to learn new things and acquire new knowledge.
• Mature personality and willing to learn.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Proficiency in MYOB, Microsoft Office and Xero would be an added advantage.
