Job summary

AlwaysHired Pte. Ltd. in Singapore is seeking an experienced finance professional to manage accounts receivable, invoicing, and collections. You will ensure accurate billing and timely statements for customers.

You will reconcile customer accounts, prepare reports, support month-end close, and assist audits while driving process improvements with Sales and Procurement teams.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Accounting or equivalent.
• Experience in accounts receivable.
• Strong numeracy and attention to detail.

Job description

The Role:

• Prepare and issue sales invoices, credit notes and customer statements accurately and promptly.
• Record customer receipts and allocate payments against outstanding invoices.
• Monitor receivables ageing, follow up on overdue payments and resolve billing discrepancies with customers and the Sales team.
• Reconcile customer accounts and investigate outstanding or unmatched balances.
• Maintain customer records, payment terms and approved credit limits.
• Update contract costing reports with sales revenue, allocated purchase costs, freight and other relevant costs.
• Analyze variances between budgeted, management and actual contract costs and margins, highlighting significant differences and their causes.
• Coordinate with Sales, Procurement and Shipping teams to obtain information required for contract costing and variance analysis.
• Support month-end closing, including receivables reconciliations, sales schedules and contract profitability reports.
• Prepare supporting documents for audits and assist with process improvements and other finance duties as assigned.
• Prepare and submit insurance claims with the required supporting documents, maintain a claims register, and follow up with insurers or brokers on outstanding claims until settlement.
