Profile Executive Search is assisting a well‑established FMCG organisation in Singapore to hire an Accounts Receivable Lead for its Finance Shared Services team. The role focuses on hands-on leadership of a high-volume AR function, ensuring accurate billing, timely collections and strong controls.

The incumbent will coach and develop the AR team, drive process improvements and partner with Tenant Management and Operations to resolve discrepancies.

Formación

• 5–10+ years in Accounts Receivable, finance operations or shared services.
• Experience in high-volume AR operations, sales reconciliation, billing and cash application.
• Leadership or supervisory experience in an operational finance environment.
• Good understanding of GST and internal controls.

Our client, a well-established FMCG organisation, is looking for an Accounts Receivable (AR) Lead to join its Finance Shared Services team in Singapore. This is an exciting opportunity for a hands‑on finance professional to lead a team in a fast‑paced, high‑volume environment, ensuring operational excellence and continuous process improvement.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and develop the team: Coach, mentor and guide the AR team to deliver accurate, timely and efficient service.
• Oversee high-volume AR operations: Manage daily sales reconciliation across food services outlets, ensuring transactions are accurately matched against payment and settlement records.
• Drive billing accuracy: Oversee tenant billing, refunds, Gross Turnover (GTO) calculations and other applicable charges.
• Manage collections and cash application: Monitor AR ageing, outstanding balances and collection activities, ensuring accurate allocation of receipts and timely follow‑up.
• Partner with stakeholders: Work closely with Tenant Management and Operations teams to resolve billing discrepancies and payment disputes.
• Strengthen controls and compliance: Ensure adherence to finance policies, GST requirements and internal controls.
• Champion process improvements: Identify opportunities to streamline workflows, improve productivity and drive automation within AR operations.

Requirements:

• Degree in Accountancy or a Diploma in Accounting.
• 6–10 years of experience in Accounts Receivable, Finance Operations or Shared Services.
• Strong hands‑on experience in high‑volume AR operations, sales reconciliation, billing, cash application, collections and AR ageing.
• Proven experience leading, coaching or supervising a team in an operational finance environment.
• Good understanding of GST, financial controls and accounting processes.
• Proficiency in SAP or other ERP systems, with exposure to automation and process improvement.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience in FMCG, F&B, property management, tenant billing or revenue‑sharing arrangements would be an advantage.
