Job summary

PROFILE SEARCH & SELECTION (SINGAPORE) PTE. LTD. is seeking an AR Accountant to join its finance team in Singapore. You will manage end-to-end accounts receivable, monitor overdue balances and support cash flow reporting.

The ideal candidate has a Diploma or Degree in Accounting/Finance and at least 3 years' experience in AR, credit control or general accounting, with strong Excel and GST knowledge. You will contribute to process improvements in a growing regional business.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in AR, credit control or general accounting.
• Strong understanding of AR processes, collections and reconciliations.
• GST preparation and compliance experience is a plus.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel with analytical mindset.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end Accounts Receivable activities including invoice verification, billing queries and payment allocations.
• Monitor customer accounts, follow up on overdue balances and drive timely collections.
• Conduct credit assessments and review customer credit limits; escalate high-risk accounts.
• Prepare AR ageing reports and collections updates for management.
• Monitor daily cash receipts and support cash flow reporting.
• Perform journal entries, GL reconciliations and month-end closing activities.
• Support GST compliance and tax-related accounting tasks.
• Contribute to finance process improvements and system enhancements.

Our client is a logistics company with a strong regional presence and is looking for an AR Accountant to join its finance team in Singapore.

This role is ideal for an accounting professional with experience in accounts receivable, credit control and collections, who is keen to play a key role in managing cash flow, strengthening collection processes and supporting the overall financial operations of a growing regional business.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end Accounts Receivable activities, including invoice verification, billing queries and payment allocations.

• Monitor customer accounts, follow up on overdue balances and drive timely collections.

• Conduct credit assessments, review customer credit limits and elevate high-risk accounts where necessary.

• Prepare AR ageing reports and collection updates for management.

• Monitor daily cash receipts and support cash flow reporting.

• Perform journal entries, GL reconciliations and month-end closing activities.

• Support GST compliance, fixed asset accounting, bank reconciliations and audit requirements.

• Contribute to finance process improvements, system enhancements and ad hoc projects.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Accountancy, Finance, Business Administration or a related discipline.

• At least 3 years of relevant experience in Accounts Receivable, Credit Control or General Accounting.

• Good understanding of AR processes, collections and account reconciliations.

• Experience in GST preparation and compliance.

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, with strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
