is seeking a hands-on Accounts Payable Consultant for a short-term contract in Singapore to support an invoice automation project and day-to-day AP activities. The role suits someone with practical AP experience, attention to detail, and the ability to work quickly in a project environment; you will process supplier invoices, PO matching, coding, and data validation while collaborating with Finance.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in accounts payable, invoice processing, or general accounting.
• Familiarity with ERP/financial systems such as SAP, Oracle, NetSuite or Coupa.
• Experience with invoice automation, OCR, testing or process improvement is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to resolve discrepancies.
• Able to work independently on short project timelines.
• Good communication and organizational skills.
• Open to candidates with varying levels of experience for short-term contracts.

• Assist with invoice automation initiatives including workflow testing, validation, troubleshooting.
• Monitor invoice processing workflows, identify exceptions, and support issue resolution.
• Validate supplier and invoice data to maintain accuracy and data integrity.
• Assist with documenting accounts payable procedures, workflows, and SOPs.
• Collaborate with Finance and stakeholders to improve processing efficiency and project delivery.
• Provide operational support during implementation and stabilization of automated invoice processing workflows.

Accounts Payable & Automation Support Consultant Contract | Singapore

About the Role

We are seeking a hands-on Accounts Payable Consultant for a short term contract (possibility of extension) assignment to support an invoice automation project and day-to-day accounts payable activities. This opportunity is ideal for someone who enjoys working with financial processes, supporting automation initiatives, and ensuring smooth and accurate invoice processing. Candidates with practical accounts payable experience, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to adapt quickly to a project environment are encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities

• Support accounts payable operations, including supplier invoice processing, purchase order (PO) matching, invoice coding, and discrepancy resolution.
• Assist with invoice automation initiatives, including workflow testing, validation, and troubleshooting.
• Monitor invoice processing workflows, identify exceptions, and support the resolution of processing issues.
• Validate supplier and invoice data to maintain accuracy and data integrity.
• Assist with documenting accounts payable procedures, workflows, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Collaborate with Finance and relevant stakeholders to improve processing efficiency and ensure smooth project delivery.
• Provide operational support during the implementation and stabilisation of automated invoice processing workflows.

Requirements

• Prior experience in accounts payable, invoice processing, or general accounting.
• Familiarity with ERP or financial systems such as SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, or Coupa would be an advantage.
• Exposure to invoice automation, OCR solutions, system testing, or process improvement initiatives is beneficial.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to identify and resolve discrepancies.
