Job summary

Samsonite International S.A. is seeking an accounting professional in Singapore to support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes. You will prepare and post journal entries, perform reconciliations, and assist in monthly reports and analyses.

The role requires 2–5 years of accounting experience, a diploma or degree in accounting/finance, and strong Excel and SAP capabilities. You will work in a detail-oriented, collaborative environment with deadlines to meet.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline.
• 2–5 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Good knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and SAP software.
• Detail-oriented, organized, and able to meet tight deadlines.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities.
• Prepare and post journal entries accurately and on a timely basis.
• Perform balance sheet reconciliations and follow up on outstanding reconciling items.
• Assist in preparing monthly financial reports, schedules, and analysis.
• Support finance-related activities as required.
• Support statutory and compliance reporting requirements.
• Prepare and maintain documentation for finance processes and controls.
• Provide administrative and operational support to the finance team and other ad hoc assignments as required.
