Job summary

NEWCON BUILDERS PTE. LTD. in Singapore is seeking an Accountant to support daily financial operations, data entry, monthly closing, GST filings, and meticulous record-keeping.

You will prepare and submit GST quarterly, manage AR/AP/GL, and input entries into the accounting system while assisting with audit-related activities and ensuring timely reporting. Requirements include a Diploma in Accounting and a minimum of 3 years' experience, preferably in construction; excellent communication,

Responsibilities

• Process payments and prepare cheques.
• Assist Accountant with data entry and information gathering for reports.
• Handle full sets of accounts - AR / AP / GL.
• Prepare and submit GST quarterly.
• Prepare monthly accounts schedules.
• Input accounting entries into the accounting system.
• Attend to creditors' enquiries and support audit-related activities.
• File and document records; perform data entry and admin support.
• Perform any ad-hoc account-related tasks as instructed by supervisor.

• Attending to Creditors' enquires Support audit-related activities
• Proper filing and documentation of records Data entry and assisting with administrative support.
• Any other ad-hoc work instructed by superior for account related matters

Requirements:

• Diploma in Accounting
• Minimum 3 years of relevant working experience and preferably with experience in construction companies would be an added advantage
• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
• Strong commitment and dedication to strict adherence to reporting deadlines
• Ability to work independently and meticulously with high level of motivation
