Job summary

People Connects Pte Ltd is seeking an Accounts Executive to support day-to-day accounting for an established insurance brokerage. You will handle AP/AR, invoicing, reconciliations, and month-end activities within a collaborative finance team.

The role requires a Diploma in Accounting or related field and at least 2 years of relevant experience. You will gain exposure to insurance industry processes and build strong accounting foundations in Singapore.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Hands-on experience with Accounts Payable and/or Accounts Receivable.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
• Good attention to detail and accuracy.
• Able to organise and manage multiple accounting tasks.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Able to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Able to work in Singapore.

Responsibilities

• Handle day-to-day accounting transactions and maintain accurate financial records.
• Manage Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) activities.
• Prepare and process invoices, payments and receipts.
• Follow up on outstanding payments and assist with collection activities.
• Perform bank reconciliations and ensure transactions are accurately recorded.
• Reconcile payments and transactions involving clients and insurers.
• Assist with month-end closing and accounting schedules.
• Maintain proper accounting documentation and supporting records.
• Assist in preparing financial reports and other accounting information when required.
• Support the finance team with general accounting and administrative matters.
