Job summary

YAMATO TRANSPORT (S) PTE. LTD. is seeking an junior to mid-level accounting professional to support AR/AP daily tasks and assist with reconciliations and month-end closing. You will contribute to management reports and data compilation for decision-making in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires a Diploma or Degree in Accounting with strong Excel skills and familiarity with ERP systems such as SAP or Cargowise. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply; working location is in Singapore.

Qualifications

• Formal education in accounting or finance is required.
• Fresh graduates or candidates with up to 2 years of accounting experience are welcome.
• Solid grasp of accounting principles and MS Excel/Google Sheets proficiency are essential.

Responsibilities

• Handle AR/AP daily tasks and related finance activities.
• Perform regular supplier statement reconciliations and assist month-end closing.
• Assist Corporate Management with data and reports.
• Provide ad hoc support as required.

Key Responsibilities

• Able to handle/support AR/AP daily jobs (ie process payment and update system) and other finance related activities.

• Perform regular supplier statement reconciliations, investigate and resolve discrepancies, and assist with month-end closing procedures.

• Support Corporate Management compilation data & reports.

• Other Ad hoc support as at when required.

Requirements

• Education: Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.

• Experience: Fresh graduates with a strong academic background or professionals with up to 1–2 years of accounting experience.

• Technical Skills: Sound knowledge of basic accounting principles, proficiency in MS Excel (vlookups, pivot tables)/Google Sheet/Power point, and familiarity with accounting & ERP systems (e.g. SAP & Cargowise) is an advantage.

• Core Competencies: High attention to detail, strong problem-solving abilities, and the capacity to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
