Job summary

A leading financial services firm in Singapore is seeking an experienced Accounts Assistant to manage day-to-day functions in the accounts department. You will support the Assistant Manager in maintaining accounting records and prepare management reports. The ideal candidate has experience in Accounts Payable and Receivable, is proficient in accounting software, and has strong attention to detail. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to financial reporting and auditing processes.

Qualifications

  • Experience in Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable.
  • Proficient in accounting software and computer applications.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial data entry.

Responsibilities

  • Generate invoices and post transactions to the general ledger.
  • Manage day-to-day activities relating to Accounts Receivable and Payable.
  • Prepare bank reconciliations for all company accounts.
  • Support the Manager with monthly and annual financial closings.
  • Assist in the preparation and coordination of the annual audit.

Skills

Experience in Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
Proficient in accounting software and computer applications (MS Excel, Word)
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to work under pressure
High integrity when handling confidential information
