Job summary

WORKLE PTE. LTD. is seeking an Accountant to maintain cash books, manage AP/AR functions, and prepare various financial documents. The role requires a diploma or degree in Accounting or Finance and 1-2 years of relevant experience. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software is essential.

The successful candidate will perform month-end closing, assist with audits, and ensure compliance with financial regulations while working independently in the Tuas area.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Detail-oriented with good organizational and communication skills.
• Able to work independently and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cash book and perform bank reconciliations.
• Handle Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) functions.
• Prepare invoices, credit/debit notes, and monthly Statements of Account (SOA).
• Manage petty cash and assist with GST filing.
• Support monthly stock take and maintain fixed asset records.
• Prepare journal vouchers and update balance sheet schedules.
• Assist with road tax and insurance renewals.
• Support month-end closing and internal/external audits.
• Perform general finance, administrative, and ad-hoc duties as assigned.
