Job summary

INDEX-COOL MARINE & INDUSTRY PTE LTD seeks an experienced Accountant to manage full-set accounting and related duties at our Tuas, Singapore location. You will handle AP/AR processes, month-end close, reconciliations and statutory reporting, while liaising with auditors and tax agents.

The role requires strong numeracy, attention to detail, and the ability to work with minimal supervision in a collaborative team environment.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Accounting or equivalent.
• CPA / ACCA qualification or pursuing will be an advantage.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant accounting experience, with hands‑on experience in full-set accounting.
• Strong communication and people skills, with the ability to work well in a team and report to multiple stakeholders.
• High level of computer literacy; technically proficient with numbers and able to work independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Handle full sets of accounts including AP/AR, invoicing, payments, receipts, staff claims and related transactions.
• Perform month-end and year-end closing for management reporting and statutory compliance.
• Prepare monthly reconciliations, Balance Sheet schedules and financial reports.
• Prepare quarterly GST returns.
• Prepare audit schedules and liaise with external auditors and tax agents.
• Ensure timely and accurate recording of accounting entries into the accounting system.
• Maintain proper documentation and an organized filing system.
• Perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned.

• Perform month-end and year-end closing of accounts for management reporting and statutory compliance
• Prepare monthly reconciliations, Balance Sheet schedules, and financial reports
• Prepare and submit quarterly GST returns
• Prepare audit schedules and liaise with external auditors and tax agents
• Ensure timely and accurate recording of accounting entries into the accounting system
