Job summary

INTUIT RECRUITMENT PTE. LTD. is hiring an Accountant for a permanent role in Woodlands (Transport Provided). The position covers financial and management accounting, month-end close, budgeting, cash flow forecasting and compliance.

Ideal candidate holds a Degree in Accountancy with at least 5 years of experience, preferably from semiconductor or construction industries. Salary up to SGD 6,000 per month plus bonus; 5 days work, office hours.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Experience in semiconductor or construction industries preferred.

• Prepare annual financial statements and manage XBRL submissions.

• Monitor internal controls and ensure governance compliance.
• Review and improve accounting processes and internal controls.
• Supervise accounts staff.

Job Responsibilities

• Handle the company's financial and management accounting functions, including month-end closing and management reporting.
• Prepare annual budgets, revised budgets and cash flow forecasts.
• Liaise with banks, external auditors and tax agents.
• Prepare annual financial statements in accordance with applicable financial reporting standards and manage XBRL submissions.
• Handle GST reporting and tax computations.
• Perform financial analysis and investigate fluctuations in the P&L and balance sheet.
• Monitor internal controls and ensure compliance with corporate governance requirements.
• Review and improve accounting processes and internal controls to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
• Investigate and resolve accounting discrepancies and irregularities.
• Supervise and coordinate the work of accounts staff.
• Perform other finance and accounting duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

• At least a Degree in Accountancy or an equivalent professional qualification.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably from semiconductor or construction industry.
• Prior experience in an audit firm would be advantageous.
