Ingersoll-Rand Singapore is seeking a maternity cover accountant from mid-November 2026 to early April 2027 to manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger duties.

You will support internal and external audits, tax queries, and month-end close, with ACCA or equivalent and 2+ years' experience. Proficiency in Excel and ERP systems, a proactive team player with strong communication.

Qualifications

• ACCA or equivalent professional qualifications.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience.
• Knowledge of ERP accounting system.
• Meticulous and independent.
• Sense of urgency, resourcefulness, diligence and proactiveness.
• Team player with a positive and 'can-do' attitude.
• Proficient in MS Excel.
• Good communications and written skills.
• Able to commit full-time for the entire maternity cover period.

Responsabilités

• Process supplier invoices and payments with proper controls.
• Reconcile AR receipts and issue memos as needed.
• Perform month-end close and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Support internal and external audit and tax queries.
• Perform ad hoc duties as assigned by Accounting Manager.

About the role

This is a maternity cover position in accounting, covering the period from mid-November 2026 to early April 2027. The role encompasses accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger management, and support for internal and external audit and statutory tax matters.

Key responsibilities

Accounts Payable

• Process supplier invoices and T&E claims – audit for control such as approval, PO / DO / Invoice matching, vouching and posting to systems

• Process AP payments

• Suppliers' creation/setup and maintenanc

Accounts Receivable

• Receipts reconciliation against outstanding AR invoices

• Issue debit and/or credit memos where necessary

General Ledger

• Perform month end closing activities, accruals, amortisation, etc.

• Perform monthly reconciliation for balance sheet accounts

Year end & other matters

• Support internal and external audit and tax queries

• Perform ad hoc duties as assigned by Accounting Manager or his/her delegate

About you

• ACCA or equivalent professional qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience

• Knowledge of ERP accounting system
