Job summary

BASE ADVISORY PTE. LTD. is seeking an Accountant to manage client portfolios, handle monthly/quarterly/yearly accounts, and prepare full sets of financial statements.

The role includes GST filing, corporate tax calculation, and preparation of reports for ACRA, with focus on accuracy and timely delivery. The ideal candidate holds a Diploma/Degree in Accountancy or ACCA/CA, has 2–3 years of experience with full-set accounts/audit, and is proficient in MS Office, MYOB, QuickBooks, and Xero.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in accountancy/finance or ACCA/CA equivalent.
• 2–3 years of full set of accounts/audit experience.
• Proficiency with MS Office, MYOB, QuickBooks, Xero.
• Familiar with investment-related accounts and MAS incentive schemes.

Responsibilities

• Manage clients' portfolio of accounts.
• Answer queries and advise clients promptly.
• Bookkeeping for monthly/quarterly/yearly accounts, including full set of accounts and consolidation.
• Prepare and filing of GST.
• Calculation of corporate tax.
• Prepare reporting documents (e.g., financial statements) to authorities (ACRA).
• Ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements.
• Undertake ad-hoc projects as assigned.
• Assist with other management and corporate services.

Accountant

Responsibilities:

• Manage clients' portfolio of accounts
• Answer queries and advise clients effectively and promptly
• Bookkeeping for clients’ monthly/quarterly/yearly accounts, preparing of full set accounts, financial statements, including consolidation
• Prepare and filing of GST
• Calculation of corporate tax
• Prepare reporting documents i.e. financial statements to the relevant authority (ACRA) as required
• Ensure compliance with all statutory and regulatory requirements
• Undertake ad-hoc projects as and when assigned
• Any other management and corporate services

Job Requirements:

• Diploma / Degree in Accountancy/Finance/ACCA/CA equivalent
• At least 2-3 Years of working experience in the related field (full set of accounts/audit) is required for this position.
• Required Skills: Microsoft Office, MYOB, Quickbooks, Xero
• Familiarity with investment-related accounts and MAS incentive schemes
• Able to work under pressure / tight deadlines
• Able to handle clients' queries in a timely and professional manner
• Able to work independently but with strong team ethics
