Job summary

PEOPLE PROFILERS PTE. LTD. is seeking an experienced accounting professional to manage full-spectrum financial and management accounting functions, ensuring accuracy and timely completion.

You will drive month-end closings, budgeting, and cash flow projections, while liaising with banks, auditors, and tax agents on statutory matters. The role requires 5+ years of relevant experience, strong knowledge of FRS, GST, and financial analysis, and the ability to guide junior staff in a fast-paced

Qualifications

• Degree in Accountancy, Finance, or a related discipline, or a recognised professional qualification such as CPA or ACCA.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably covering full-set accounts, financial reporting, and management accounting.
• Good knowledge of Financial Reporting Standards, GST, taxation, budgeting, and financial analysis.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.
• Proactive, resourceful, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to guide and supervise junior accounting staff.
• Prior experience in an audit firm / public accounting firm will be an added advantage.
• This role does not involve in consolidation.
• Experience in Accounting system Globe3 or similar system.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the full spectrum of financial and management accounting functions, ensuring accuracy and timely completion of financial activities.
• Manage the month-end closing process and prepare timely and accurate management reports.
• Prepare annual budgets, revised forecasts, and cash flow projections.
• Liaise with banks, external auditors, tax agents, and other relevant parties on accounting and statutory matters.
• Prepare annual financial statements in accordance with applicable Financial Reporting Standards and handle XBRL submissions.
• Prepare and review GST returns, tax computations, and related statutory filings.
• Perform financial analysis, including review and explanation of significant P&L and Balance Sheet variances.
• Ensure internal controls, accounting policies, and procedures are properly implemented and comply with corporate governance requirements.
• Review and improve accounting processes and internal controls to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and compliance.
• Investigate and resolve accounting discrepancies and irregularities.
• Supervise and guide accounting staff, ensuring accurate and timely completion of assigned tasks.
• Support management on finance-related matters and perform ad-hoc duties and projects as assigned.
