Job summary

YY circle in Singapore is seeking a skilled Finance Accountant to manage the full set of accounts from source documents through to financial statements. You will handle AP/AR, GL, and fixed assets, and perform monthly and year-end closings with variance analysis.

You will prepare management reports for consolidation, liaise with auditors, and ensure GST and corporate tax filings are submitted accurately. Strong knowledge of SFRS/FRS and tax compliance is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy, Finance, or related discipline.
• Professional qualification such as Chartered Accountant (CA), ACCA, or CPA is an added advantage.
• Strong hands-on experience in maintaining a full set of accounts independently.
• Good working knowledge of SFRS/FRS, GST, and corporate taxation.

Responsibilities

• Handle the full set of accounts from source documents to financial statements, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and fixed assets.
• Perform monthly and year-end closing, including preparation of management accounts, schedules, and variance analysis.
• Prepare timely and accurate financial and management reports for group consolidation and management review.
• Prepare and submit statutory filings, including GST returns and corporate income tax.
• Liaise independently with external auditors, tax agents, vendors, and regulatory authorities.
• Prepare audit schedules and support external audit processes, including audited financial statements.
• Perform balance sheet reconciliations, intercompany reconciliations, and detailed account analysis.
• Maintain proper accounting records and documentation in compliance with Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (SFRS/FRS).
• Monitor cash flow, manage payments, collections matters to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
• Support management with financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and other finance-related duties as required.
