• Lead annual cost roll and manage cost data accuracy.
• Review inventory reserves, warranty expenses, and asset verifications.
• Assist with audits, compliance, and IT expenditure reporting.

Job Summary

In this role, you will support key accounting and financial reporting activities within a manufacturing environment, with a strong focus on factory costing, cost accounting, and manufacturing finance. You will partner with cross-functional teams to drive financial accuracy, provide meaningful business insights, support operational decision-making, and contribute to budgeting, compliance, and continuous improvement initiatives.

In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

• Perform key cost accounting activities, including standard cost updates, variance analysis, and month-end closing activities.
• Prepare monthly journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations and schedules.
• Develop and maintain monthly management reports to support business decision-making.
• Participate in quarterly business reviews and annual budgeting activities.
• Lead the annual cost roll process and ensure accurate cost data management.
• Review and analyze excess and obsolete inventory reserves on a quarterly basis.
• Review and analyze warranty expenses and reserve requirements.
• Support cycle counts, annual physical inventory counts, and fixed asset verification activities.
• Assist with Free Trade Agreement (FTA) applications and renewals.
• Support annual US GAAP, SOX, statutory audit, and compliance requirements.
• Serve as a key accounting contact for enterprise IT expenditure reporting activities.
• Support annual business insurance renewal processes.
• Contribute to special projects, process improvements, and other ad hoc assignments as needed.

For This Role, You Will Need:

• Knowledge of factory costing, standard costing methodologies, cost roll processes, and manufacturing finance principles.
• Experience performing cost accounting activities, variance analysis, month-end close processes, and financial reporting.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data, evaluate trends, and provide meaningful business insights.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial data analysis.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, maintain accuracy, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across functions and levels of the organization.

Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, ACCA, or an equivalent professional qualification, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
• Experience working in a multinational organization.
• Proficiency with Oracle ERP.
