Job summary

Ichor Systems Singapore Pte. Ltd. is seeking a hands‑on Senior/Cost Accountant to support cost accounting, inventory management, manufacturing costs and product profitability.

You will partner with business units to drive budgeting, forecasting and FP&A, delivering cost insights to improve profitability. The role requires 5 years in cost accounting within manufacturing or supply chain, advanced Excel skills and Oracle ERP experience, with a focus on accuracy, controls and process improvements.

Qualifications

• Recognized degree, ACCA or other equivalent professional accounting qualification.
• At least 5 years of cost accounting experience in a manufacturing or supply chain environment.
• Strong cost accounting knowledge and analytical skills.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP systems (Oracle).

Responsibilities

• Responsible for periodic cost accounting close, variances analysis and financial reporting.
• Support inventory standard cost calculation, cost simulation and annual cost roll etc.
• Support and drive inventory management including quarterly E&O review, annual physical counts and daily cycle counts activities.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to analyze cost variances, product margin and drive continuous improvement initiatives to reduce production cost and improve operational efficiency and product margin
• Prepare and review weekly sales and gross margin analysis, inventory report, manufacturing costs analysis, work order variances and dashboard to business units.
• Review, analyse and follow up with operations teams to resolve work order variances
• Monitor and evaluate key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the effectiveness of cost management strategies.
• Support global team to develop and implement effective costing methodologies and processes to enhance accuracy and efficiency.

Ichor is looking for a hands‑on and analytical Senior /Cost Accountant to support cost accounting, inventory management, manufacturing costs, and product profitability. This role will work closely with business units and cross‑functional teams to support financial planning and analysis, budgeting, and forecasting activities. The role will also analyze financial data and provide insights to facilitate business decisions, while partnering closely with the business to drive financial and operational performance.

Responsibilities

Accounting and Inventory Management

• Responsible for periodic cost accounting close, variances analysis and financial reporting.

Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A)

• Support budgeting and financial planning activities by providing cost‑related insights

• Work with business units on resources and capacity planning.

• Participate in the quarterly business review, perform cost variances analysis against forecast.

• Provide detailed cost reports and forecasts, identifying trends and proposing strategies to minimize cost variances.

Others

• Maintain strong internal controls and compliance with Sarbanes‑Oxley (SOX) regulations.

• Assist with US GAAP, SOX, tax and statutory audits.

• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to improve operational efficiency and eliminate non‑value added activities.

• Partner with IT to resolve and enhance cost accounting system functionalities related to supply chain, manufacturing, engineering and etc.

Requirements

• Recognized degree, ACCA graduate or other equivalent professional accounting qualification.

• 5 years of cost accounting experience in a manufacturing or supply chain environment.

• Strong cost accounting knowledge and analytical skills.

• Independent, mature, self‑motivated and possess ‘can‑do’ attitude.

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, other data analysis tools and ERP systems (Oracle).

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to collaborate across departments.

• High attention to details, organizational skills, and problem‑solving abilities.
