Responsibilities

• Perform cost accounting activities, including standard cost updates and variance analysis.
• Prepare monthly journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Develop monthly management reports to support decision-making.
• Participate in quarterly business reviews and annual budgeting.
• Lead annual cost roll process and ensure data accuracy.
• Review excess and obsolete inventory reserves quarterly.
• Review warranty expenses and reserves.
• Support cycle counts, annual physical inventory, and fixed assets verification.
• Assist with Free Trade Agreement applications and renewals.
• Support annual US GAAP, SOX, and statutory audits.
• Serve as accounting contact for enterprise IT expenditure reporting.
• Support annual business insurance renewal processes.
• Contribute to special projects and process improvements.

Job Summary

In this role, you will support key accounting and financial reporting activities within a manufacturing environment, with a strong focus on factory costing, cost accounting, and manufacturing finance. You will partner with cross-functional teams to drive financial accuracy, provide meaningful business insights, support operational decision-making, and contribute to budgeting, compliance, and continuous improvement initiatives.

In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

• Perform key cost accounting activities, including standard cost updates, variance analysis, and month-end closing activities.
• Prepare monthly journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations and schedules.
• Develop and maintain monthly management reports to support business decision-making.
• Participate in quarterly business reviews and annual budgeting activities.
• Lead the annual cost roll process and ensure accurate cost data management.
• Review and analyze excess and obsolete inventory reserves on a quarterly basis.
• Review and analyze warranty expenses and reserve requirements.
• Support cycle counts, annual physical inventory counts, and fixed asset verification activities.

For This Role, You Will Need:

• Knowledge of factory costing, standard costing methodologies, cost roll processes, and manufacturing finance principles.
• Experience performing cost accounting activities, variance analysis, month-end close processes, and financial reporting.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data, evaluate trends, and provide meaningful business insights.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial data analysis.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, maintain accuracy, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across functions and levels of the organization.

Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, ACCA, or an equivalent professional qualification, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
• Experience working in a multinational organization.
• Proficiency with Oracle ERP.
