Job summary

LEOCH BATTERY PTE. LTD. is seeking a detail-oriented accounting professional to manage monthly close, bank reconciliations, and financial reporting. You will liaise with auditors and tax agents, coordinate GST submissions, and support annual audits and corporate tax matters.

The role requires a degree in Accounting or Finance and at least 3 years of relevant experience. Proficiency in Excel and familiarity with SAP, Xero, QuickBooks or MYOB are advantageous.

Qualifications

• Degree in Accounting, Finance or related discipline.
• 3+ years of relevant experience.
• Basic understanding of accounting principles.

Responsibilities

• Handle monthly month-end closing and ensure timely and accurate accounting records.
• Prepare and maintain accounting schedules, including bank reconciliation and balance sheet schedules.
• Prepare monthly financial reports and perform variance and financial analysis.
• Liaise with external auditors and tax agents on audit, tax and accounting matters.
• Prepare and coordinate GST submission and ensure compliance with GST requirements.
• Assist with annual audit, corporate tax matters and related documentation.
• Maintain proper accounting records and supporting documents.
• Perform other ad-hoc accounting and finance duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

• Degree in Accounting, Finance or related discipline
• At least 3 years of relevant experience
• Basic understanding of accounting principles
• Familiar with Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP / Pivot Table preferred)
• Experience with accounting software (e.g. SAP, Xero, QuickBooks, MYOB) is an advantage
• Detail-oriented, responsible and able to meet deadlines
• Good communication skills and able to liaise with internal and external parties
