JUST RECRUIT SINGAPORE PTE. LTD. is seeking an experienced Account Executive to support daily accounting and financial operations in Singapore.

The role requires handling AR/AP, reconciliations, GST matters, and reporting, with independence and meticulous organization. The successful candidate will manage bank reconciliations, prepare financial reports, coordinate with auditors, and ensure proper documentation.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Accounting or LCCI Accounting qualification.
• At least 5 years of accounting experience.
• Hands-on in AR, AP, bank reconciliation and full sets of accounts.
• Good knowledge of GST and audit matters.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting processes.

Responsibilities

• Handle AR and AP activities and maintain full sets of accounts.
• Perform daily bank and credit card reconciliations.
• Prepare daily/periodic financial reports for management.
• Coordinate GST submissions and audit requirements.
• Liaise with banks and government authorities on accounting matters.

Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Account Executive to join our team and support the company's daily accounting and financial operations.

The successful candidate will handle day-to-day accounting activities, financial reporting, reconciliations, payments, GST matters, audit coordination and accounting documentation. This is a hands-on role suitable for candidates who are organised, meticulous and comfortable working independently.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP) activities.


• Prepare and maintain full sets of accounts.


• Perform daily bank and credit card reconciliation and monitor bank transactions.


• Arrange and follow up on payment schedules to ensure timely payments.


• Prepare daily sales reports and other financial reports for Management.


• Prepare daily bank balance and transaction reports.


• Manage petty cash and process reimbursement claims.


• Prepare bank deposits for counter cash collections.


• Assist with quarterly GST submissions and other accounting-related matters.


• Coordinate with auditors and assist with audit requirements.


• Liaise with banks, government authorities and external parties on accounting and costing matters.


• Maintain proper accounting records and document control.


• Prepare annual fixed asset depreciation reports.


• Prepare yearly commission statements.


• Conduct monthly inventory stock takes and assist with asset/inventory disposal and write-offs.


• Assist with e-commerce payment-related matters.


• Ensure accounting and financial documents are properly filed and maintained.


• Work closely with Management on accounting and financial matters.


• Perform other duties assigned by the Director and Management.

Job Requirements

• Minimum Diploma in Accounting, Finance or a relevant field, or LCCI Accounting qualification.


• At least 5 years of relevant accounting experience.


• Candidates with hands-on experience in AR, AP, bank reconciliation and full sets of accounts are encouraged to apply.


• Good knowledge of accounting processes, GST and audit matters.


• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.


• Meticulous, organised and detail-oriented.


• Able to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines.


• Able to work independently with minimal supervision.


• Good communication and teamwork skills.


• Positive attitude and willing to learn.
