SEVEN SEAS MARITIME SERVICES (SINGAPORE) PTE. LTD. is seeking an Accounts Payable Assistant/Executive for a 6-week temp assignment in Singapore. You will join the finance team to process vendor invoices and staff expense claims with accuracy.

This role requires a diploma or LCCI/Nitec in accounting, at least 1 year of AP or related experience, and strong Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables). Familiarity with ERP systems is a plus. Immediate starter preferred, 5-day work week, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM.

Qualifications

• Diploma or LCCI/Nitec in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline.
• At least 1 year of Accounts Payable or related accounting experience; fresh graduates with strong internships may be considered.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables); familiarity with ERP systems advantageous.
• Meticulous with attention to detail and ability to work under tight timelines.
• Immediate starter or very short notice period preferred.

Responsibilities

• Invoice processing: Verify, code, and input supplier invoices into the accounting system with high accuracy.
• Statement reconciliation: Reconcile vendor SOA against internal ledger and investigate discrepancies.
• Payment execution: Assist in weekly/ad-hoc payment runs via internet banking and issue payment advice to vendors.
• Claims & expenses: Verify staff mileage, entertainment, and petty cash claims per company policy.
• Ad-hoc duties: Support month-end closing tasks and maintain an organized filing system for finance documents.
