Job summary

Recruit Express Pte Ltd in Singapore is seeking a motivated candidate to be based at a bank branch in Tampines. The role centers on frontline OTC transactions, cash handling, and servicing client accounts to uphold service standards.

You will assist in risk and compliance with bank policies, help supervise branch staff, drive business referrals to relevant units, and manage branch administration to keep the office professional and orderly.

Responsibilities

• Perform OTC cash deposits/withdrawals and basic account servicing at the branch.
• Address client inquiries and complaints to meet SLAs and uphold customer satisfaction.
• Assist in managing operational and transactional risk in line with bank policies.
• Support supervision, mentoring, and training of branch staff.
• Refer potential business opportunities to relevant units to help meet branch targets.
• Handle branch administration tasks including cash handling and opening/closing procedures.

Monday - Friday: 8.30am to 6.30 pm; Every Saturday: 8.30am to 4pm, Sunday off (additional 1 rest day per week, only on weekday)

Job Scope

• Objective – To be based at bank branch
• Frontline Operations: Performing over-the-counter (OTC) transactions, such as cash deposits/withdrawals and account servicing.
• Customer Experience: Handling client inquiries and complaints, ensuring that service level agreements (SLAs) are met, and maintaining high standards of customer satisfaction.
• Risk and Compliance: Working with the Service Manager to manage operational and transactional risks, ensuring strict adherence to banking policies, internal controls, and regulatory requirements.
• Staff Supervision: Assisting in the supervision, mentoring, and training of branch staff, which may include helping with performance reviews and scheduling.
• Business Support: Identifying and referring clients to relevant business units for new services or potential business opportunities to help the branch meet its targets.
• Branch Administration: Managing controlled items (like cash and sensitive documents), assisting with opening and closing procedures, and ensuring the branch atmosphere is professional and orderly.
