Job summary

A leading bank in Singapore is hiring Customer Service Representatives / Bank Tellers for neighbourhood branches. You will be the friendly face customers see when they walk in, handling banking transactions, answering questions, and helping customers feel confident with digital banking.

You can choose a branch near your home and start or grow a career in banking. This 12-month contract offers stability, a 5.5-day work week, and opportunities for renewal based on performance and headcount.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer-facing roles such as banking, retail, or food & beverage is preferred.
• Able to handle cash accurately and maintain service standards.
• Friendly and patient with a strong service mindset.

Responsibilities

• Attend to walk-in customers and provide warm, professional service.
• Handle counter transactions, cash deposits and withdrawals accurately.
• Assist customers with inquiries and guide them to appropriate banking channels (ATMs, self-service, mobile banking).
• Introduce customers to products and services and stay updated on latest offerings.
• Manage customer wait times, resolve issues, and escalate when needed.

Location: Islandwide, all near MRT, such as Parkway, Bedok, Woodlands, Yishun, Kovan and Punggol
Contract Duration: 12 months (renewable/convertible, subject to performance and headcount)
Salary Range: $2,700 to $4,000 per month
Working Hours: 5.5-day work week (Monday to Friday, plus half-day Saturday), approximately 40 hours per week
Shifts between 8.30am and 6pm, depending on branch
Closed on Sundays and Public Holidays
Vacancies: 6 headcount

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

1. Attend to walk-in customers and give them a warm, professional service experience.
2. Handle over-the-counter transactions, including cash deposits and withdrawals, quickly and accurately.
3. Assist with customer enquiries and make sure the bank's service standards are met.
4. Guide customers to alternative banking channels such as ATMs, self-service machines and mobile banking where suitable.
5. Introduce customers to the bank's products and services, and keep up to date with the latest products and processes.
6. Drive service excellence by managing customer wait times, resolving issues and handling feedback.
7. Escalate issues to management promptly when needed.
8. Follow all regulatory requirements and join daily service huddles with the branch team.

Requirements

• Customer service, retail, F&B or cash-handling experience is preferred (Banking experience Will be having a high advantegeous)

• Friendly and patient, with a strong service mindset

• Accurate and detail-oriented when handling cash and transactions

• Able to work on Saturdays (half day)
