Job summary

TALENT RECRUITMENT PTE. LTD. is hiring a Shipping Assistant in Singapore. The role involves handling import/export documents for sea and air freight, coordinating with lines and warehouses, and ensuring accurate data entry.

The position offers a salary of SGD 2,500–2,800 per month, Monday to Friday, 9am–6pm, located in Little India, with benefits including AWS, bonus, and annual leave (14–21 days).

Qualifications

• Experience in shipping, logistics or import/export documentation is an advantage.
• Good coordination and communication skills.
• Organised, responsible and detail-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Prepare import/export shipping documents for sea and air freight.
• Prepare invoices, shipping permits, cargo insurance and Bills of Lading.
• Apply for shipping permits and Certificates of Origin via TradeWeb.
• Coordinate with shipping lines, freight forwarders, customers and warehouses on shipment arrangements.
• Arrange cargo collection, local deliveries and container transportation.
• Monitor container movements and update shipment records.
• Handle data entry, document scanning and filing.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
