Job summary

HP, Inc. in Singapore is seeking a Manufacturing Development Engineer to support additive manufacturing (3D) operations.

You will own assigned 3D printer sub-systems, transfer knowledge from GBU R&D, and lead cross-functional teams to ensure products meet performance, cost and quality targets for customer shipments. Requirements include a four-year or graduate degree in Mechanical Engineering and 3–5 years of experience in manufacturing engineering operations.

Qualifications

• Four-year or Graduate Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
• Typically 3–5 years of work experience in manufacturing engineering operations or related field.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with GBU R&D and manufacturing partner factory teams to deliver AM printer products for customer shipment.
• Act as owner for assigned 3D printer product sub-systems, ensuring engineering performance meets specs.
• Provide responsive support to factory build issues and escalations related to product performance.
• Support new 3D NPI printer product industrialization activities under accelerated time-to-market schedules.
• Participate in product prototyping builds locally or at GBU sites, providing DFx input.
• Drive and implement change management at manufacturing partner factories to meet requirements.
