Contract Period: 1 October 2026 to 30 September 2027
Extension Option: Up to 12 months, from 1 October 2027 to 30 September 2028
Monday to Thursday: 8:30 am to 6:00 pm, including a 1-hour lunch break
Friday: 8:30 am to 5:30 pm, including a 1-hour lunch break
Time off will be provided when work beyond normal hours is required
No work on Saturdays, Sundays and gazetted public holidays
Lead the AV setup and live technical operations for school events, assemblies and performances.
Operate auditorium soundboards, media-mixing consoles, wireless microphones and stage-lighting systems.
Support staff and student groups with AV equipment setup, testing and event preparation.
Conduct AV equipment training for Media Club students and teachers.
Take photographs and videos of school events, daily campus activities and official staff portraits.
Edit and produce videos for presentations, promotional materials and social media.
Update the school website with current content and announcements.
Manage and schedule content for digital display screens throughout the campus.
Oversee classroom projectors, interactive displays, sound systems and PA systems.
Perform regular preventive maintenance and troubleshoot AV equipment promptly.
Carry out other duties assigned by the college management.
Minimum Diploma or Higher Nitec in Audio-Visual Technology, Media Production, Information Technology or a related field.
Preferably 2 to 3 years of hands-on AV or live-event production experience.
Experience operating soundboards, lighting grids and live-event mixing equipment.
Experience training teachers or students on AV equipment is preferred.
Portfolio demonstrating photography, videography and video-editing skills.
Proficient in professional video-editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro or Final Cut Pro.
Knowledge of website content-management systems and digital-signage software.
Strong communication, interpersonal and troubleshooting skills.
Willing to support occasional early-morning or after-school events.
Physically able to lift, transport and set up AV equipment safely.
