Job summary

RMA CONSULTANTS PTE LTD is seeking an Event & Media Assistant to support school-wide events, audiovisual operations, multimedia content creation and classroom technology systems.

The role combines event production, media creation and technical support in a vibrant educational setting, with an extendable one-year contract and standard 5-day work week from 8:30am to 6:00pm.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Higher Nitec in AV Technology, Media Production, IT or related field.
• 2–3 years hands-on experience in AV setup, live sound, lighting and event production.
• Experience in photography, videography and video editing using Premiere Pro or Final Cut Pro.
• Proficient in operating audio mixers, microphones and lighting, with troubleshooting skills for AV equipment.
• Basic knowledge of CMS and digital signage platforms.
• Willing to support occasional school events outside normal hours.

Responsibilities

• Event & AV Support: Set up and operate audio, visual, lighting and sound systems for school events.
• Multimedia Production: Capture and edit photos and videos for events and promotions.
• Content & Digital Media: Maintain website content and manage digital signage across the campus.
• Classroom AV Support: Maintain and troubleshoot projectors, displays, sound systems and other AV equipment.
• Technical Support & Training: Conduct AV checks, resolve issues and provide basic AV training to teachers and students.
• Student Engagement: Support students and staff with AV requirements for clubs and projects.

This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy a mix of event production, media creation, and technical support in a vibrant educational environment.

Job Responsibilities:

• Event & AV Support: Set up and operate audio, visual, lighting and sound systems for school events, assemblies, performances and activities.
• Multimedia Production: Capture and edit photos and videos for school events, presentations, promotions and social media.
• Content & Digital Media: Maintain website content and manage digital signage across the campus.
• Classroom AV Support: Maintain and troubleshoot projectors, interactive displays, sound systems and other AV equipment.
• Technical Support & Training: Conduct regular AV checks, resolve technical issues and provide basic AV training to teachers and students.
• Student Engagement: Support students and staff with AV requirements for clubs, presentations and special projects.

Requirements:

• Diploma or Higher Nitec in AV Technology, Media Production. IT or related field
• At least 2-3 years of hands-on experience in AV setup, live sound, lighting and event production
• Media Skills: Experience in photography, videography and video editing using tools such as Adobe Premiere Pro or Final Cut Pro.
• Technical Skills: Proficient in operating audio mixers, microphones and lighting systems, with strong troubleshooting skills for AV and classroom equipment.
• Digital Skills: Basic knowledge of website CMS and digital signage platforms.
• Willing to support occasional school events outside normal hours and assist with AV equipment setup.
• This a Contract role for One year/extendable

• 5days week from Mondays to Fridays: 8:30am to 6:00pm, inclusive of 1.0hr lunch break
