Job summary

Bank of China Singapore is seeking an Operations Associate to support daily BAU payment processing across Cheque, GIRO, DDA applications, Salary Crediting, and related transactions. You will ensure timeliness, accuracy, and compliance with SOPs, while contributing to process improvements and cross‑functional liaison with internal teams and Head Office.

The role requires at least 3 years in banking payment processing, with bilingual English and Mandarin communication, strong Excel/Office skills,

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Banking, Finance or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant banking experience in payment processing and testing.
• Good teamwork, self-motivated with fast learning ability.
• Effective communication in English and Mandarin for internal/external customers.

Responsibilities

• Daily BAU processing of Cheque, GIRO, DDA Applications, Standing Order, Salary Crediting, Insurance Commission Payout, FAST & PayNow related transactions.
• Ensure daily BAU tasks are completed on time and within cutoff.
• Maintain accuracy in transaction processing, reconciliation, and exception follow-up.
• Provide 24x7 standby/adhoc support for production systems.
• Participate in internal or industry testing and exercises as assigned.
• Review processes to update SOPs and user manuals.
• Coordinate with business units, internal/external customers, and service providers.
• Undertake other ad-hoc or administrative tasks as assigned.
