Job summary

Akkodis Singapore PTE. LTD. is seeking an IT Service Support Engineer to join a dedicated 24x7 operations team. You will focus on maintaining the availability and performance of mission‑critical infrastructure, handling incidents and performing preventive maintenance.

The role requires 1–2 years of IT infrastructure experience, knowledge of Windows/Linux, networking, AD, and ITSM processes. It offers a busy, on‑site environment with rotating shifts and continuous service delivery.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in IT, Computer Engineering, Electronics Engineering or a related discipline.
• 1–2 years of experience in IT infrastructure or technical systems support.
• Experience with Windows/Linux, networking, firewalls, VMware/Hyper‑V, Active Directory, UPS, PIM/PAM or hardware troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with ITSM, incident management and change management.
• Experience in a high‑availability or mission‑critical environment is an advantage.
• Strong troubleshooting, communication and documentation skills.
• Comfortable working in a 24x7 shift environment.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain the availability, performance and reliability of mission‑critical systems.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware, software and infrastructure incidents within agreed SLAs.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance, system health checks and configuration verification.
• Conduct software validation, functional testing and system checks following upgrades, patches and fixes.
• Maintain accurate records of incidents, maintenance activities, system configurations and technical documentation.
• Manage onsite spare parts, equipment inventory and asset/serviceability records.
• Coordinate with vendors for equipment maintenance, calibration and technical support.
• Support root‑cause investigations and continuous service improvement initiatives.
• Participate in a 24x7 rotating shift and standby/on‑call roster.
