Job summary

American Express Global Business Travel is seeking a Virtual Group Air Planner to manage group air travel for Scandinavian clients (Sweden, Denmark, Norway). Responsibilities include researching airlines, negotiating contracts, and delivering cost savings while meeting deadlines and client specifications.

You will produce reports with Insights, Sage or Power BI and collaborate across teams to ensure high-quality service and effective program development.

Qualifications

• 2+ years experience as Travel for Meetings/Group Air Planner or Coordinator.
• Experience compiling event reports via Insights, Sage or Power BI.
• Knowledge of GDS with group blocks.
• Strong negotiation and research skills.
• Experience with Concur OBT and Cvent integration is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage events for 10 to thousands of attendees including air travel.
• Research airlines, negotiate contracts, manage group blocks.
• Produce event reporting via Insights/Sage/Power BI.
• Plan, coordinate and execute group air travel.
• Deliver savings and financial management across bookings.
• Work both independently and in a team.
• Continuous self-development and training.
• Adapt to changing delegate updates using registration tools.
