Job summary

L&T Technology Services is seeking a Vehicle Fault Tracing Engineer in Gothenburg, Sweden. You will prepare and deliver test vehicles, build and modify vehicle harnesses and ETC systems, and perform electrical and mechanical fault tracing on complete vehicles.

You will diagnose faults with automotive diagnostic tools and work with hardware, software, electrical systems, and EV technologies. A Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering and 5+ years hands-on experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent practical experience.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience as a workshop technician/engineer working with complete vehicles.
• Strong knowledge of complete vehicle systems, including hardware, software, electrical systems, and EV technologies.
• Hands-on experience in electrical fault tracing and vehicle diagnostics.
• Experience with automotive diagnostic and analysis tools such as DSA, ZDS, or equivalent.
• Experience with CANoe, CANalyzer, and INCA is highly desirable.
• Good computer and technical documentation skills.
• Category B driving licence.
• Forklift licence is preferred.
• HV work certification for HV power-up/power-down is an advantage.
• Hot work certification is an advantage.
