Job summary

LTTS in Gothenburg, Sweden is seeking a Vehicle Diagnostic Test Engineer to perform product quality investigations on vehicles on the market and support root cause analysis for field quality problems. You will conduct in-car function acceptance testing for new or revised vehicle features, and manage product improvement tasks in Jira and related systems.

The role requires hands-on experience with automotive diagnostics, GDPR awareness, and a valid driver’s license for passenger vehicles.

Qualifications

• Experience in automotive aftermarket and quality issue resolution.
• B.Sc. in engineering or equivalent.
• Strong communication for issue reporting.
• Good awareness of GDPR implications.
• Root cause analysis and in-car fault tracing skills.
• Experienced user of automotive diagnostic tools.
• Driver's license for passenger vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Perform product quality investigations describing problem to be solved and providing data to aid resolution, including reproduction of issues.
• Task management of product improvement issues within technical area in Jira and GQMP systems.
• Performing advanced fault tracing and providing technical support to aftermarket organization.
• Perform in car customer acceptance testing of new or revised vehicle functions prior to introduction.

Description of the assignment

Perform product quality investigations on vehicles on the market. Failure mode analysis and supporting root cause analysis for field quality problems. Proposing containment actions.

Performing customer focused function acceptance testing on new and revised in car functions.

Responsibilities & Tasks:
