Job summary

Tata Technologies Nordics AB in Sweden is seeking a Technical Lead to strengthen our engineering team. You will lead development of electronic components, coordinate prototypes, and ensure targets of time, technology, quality and cost are met.

The role requires MSc/BSc in Electrical/Electronic engineering or Mechatronics, experience in system development, ECU design and validation, and knowledge of ISO standards such as ISO 16750, ISO26262, and ISO21434.

Qualifications

• Degree in electrical/electronic engineering or mechatronics.
• Experience in system development and ECU design/validation.
• Strong communication skills, written and spoken.
• Familiarity with automotive ISO standards and cybersecurity.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with cross functional teams including Software, Quality, Manufacturing, Architects, Supply chain.

Responsibilities

• Lead development of electronic components together with our supplier.
• Development of complete systems or components in our systems.
• Achievement of targets of time, technology, quality and cost.
• Writing component and system specifications.
• Coordination of prototypes
• Following implementation and fulfilling of ISO or relevant automotive standards
• Develop and secure supplier electric HW specifications and design to match VCC system requirements and functionality
• Support analyses of field quality issues and suggest corrective actions
• Coordination with cross functional teams such as Software development, Quality, Manufacturing, Architects, Supply chain etc.

Experience / Background

• MSc / BSc in Electrical & Electronic engineering or Mechatronics.
• Experience in system development.
• Experience in ECU design and validation.
• Communicative in speech and writing
• ISO 16750 knowledge.
• Practical experience of EMC/EMI and of relevant automotive standards.
• Understanding of Mechatronic systems
• Automotive & Chassis systems knowledge is an advantage.
• Knowledge of System Safety concepts in regard to ISO26262.
• Knowledge of automotive cybersecurity in regard to ISO21434 (good to have)
• Practical experience in troubleshooting faults in electrical/electronic system
• Hands on experience with following equipment: Digital multi meter, Oscilloscope, Function generator etc.
• Understanding of automotive communication protocols e.g., CAN, Ethernet, and LIN.
• Fully knowledgeable and able to work independently in Volvos Product Development Processes, Systems and Tools.
• Experience within Volvo Cars or from automotive industry
• Experience from working with suppliers and working in international environment
• Knowledge in following systems: KDP, Pecca procost, VPC, VIRA, Teamcenter, System weaver
• Driving license
