Job summary

Tata Technologies in Gothenburg, Sweden is seeking an Analysis & Verification Engineer to join the ART Traction Battery Software team, focusing on validating battery management system components and safety-critical tests.

You will automate tests in HIL labs, use Carweaver, INCA, Canalyzer, and dSPACE AutomationDesk, and collaborate across engineering disciplines; travel within Sweden and abroad is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in electrical engineering or mechatronics.
• Experience with ISO26262 and functional safety.
• Fluent in English, written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Automate and test inhouse software using HIL and lab setups.
• Develop automated test cases with dSPACE AutomationDesk on Component and Domain level.
• Work in HIL/battery laboratory environments and test vehicles; occasional travel across Sweden and abroad.

Job description

Due to our continued growth, we are now recruiting for an Analysis & Verification Engineer to join our team in Gothenburg, Sweden.

The role

The ART Traction Battery Software is responsible for the development of major parts of hybrid and electric vehicle systems. We are currently moving to in-house development of key software components of the traction battery management system. Traction batteries are complex systems containing hundreds of battery cells together with a thermal conditioning system which needs to be monitored and controlled. In order to operate the battery in a safe and optimal way, it is important to verify that all measurements are reliable and correct.

Responsibilities

• As an Analysis and Verification engineer in one of these teams, your work will be very varied as you will work in HIL- and battery laboratory environment running manual tests and focus mainly on developing automatic tests, as well as working with test vehicles.
• Occasional travelling is to expect on this position, since expeditions will take place around Sweden and abroad.
• Automate and test inhouse Software
• Automate test cases in dSPACE AutomationDesk on Component and Domain level
• Knowledge in high voltage systems, electrical safety and electrical architecture
• Diagnostics knowledge like UDS
• Driving license B, valid in EU
• Experience of using Carweaver, INCA and Canalyzer

Good to have

• Experience of using Carweaver, INCA and Canalyzer
• Knowledge and experience of working according to ISO26262
• Deliver test results in a structured way, analyze those, and propose improvements
• Preferable education for this position is bachelor degree in electrical engineering or mechatronics or similar proof of fit
• Deep knowledge in AutomationDesk
• Knowledge in high voltage systems, electrical safety and electrical architecture
• Experience of SW-testing
• Experience of using Carweaver, INCA and Canalyzer.
• Knowledge and experience of working with diagnostics, UDS, OBD2 and diagnostic testing.
• Knowledge in coding is a plus
• Knowledge in CANoe is a plus
• Fluent in English, written and spoken
• ISTQB certification meritorious.
