Job summary

NW seeks a Country Manager to lead its Sweden operations from Stockholm in a hybrid setup, with business travel across Sweden, Finland and France. You will drive strategic growth, coordinate with France/Finland and Nordic teams, and represent NW to partners and authorities.

You will oversee project development, grid connection work, and regulatory compliance while building a strong pipeline of distributed storage initiatives.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in the Swedish electricity market and regulatory landscape.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and communications capability.
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence at executive level.

Responsibilities

• Establish and grow NW’s presence in Sweden with strategic and operational leadership.
• Oversee HR, finance, legal and related functions in coordination with France & Finland.
• Drive BESS project opportunities and manage full lifecycle from site to handover.
• Lead grid connection processes with Svenska Kraftnät and DSOs, ensuring compliance.
• Negotiate contracts and partnerships; represent NW in industry forums.
• Monitor market trends, regulatory developments and ensure safety, quality, and environment standards.
