Job summary

Suzuki Garphyttan AB is searching for an Automation Engineer to enhance their team in Sweden. WE ARE LOOKING FOR A AUTOMATION ENGINEER FOR A BETTER TOMORROW

In this position, you will collaborate daily with colleagues from various departments, including Maintenance, R&D, Operations Technology, and IT, to address a wide range of issues, design inquiries, and requests. The role is broad, allowing for close cooperation across the organization.

Since you will support SuzukiGarphyttan’s other sites located in the United States, China, Mexico and England, you will also have global contacts, which requires you to speak and write English and find it exciting to travel.

Examples of tasks:

• Establish/maintain global standards in the area
• Ensure machine safety
• Perform PLC programming
• Corrective and preventive maintenance
• Troubleshooting
• Project management
• Create electrical schematics in Elcad

ABOUT YOU

We are looking for someone with a college/university degree in automation or electrical engineering. You have a background as an automation engineer and have worked for at least five years, preferably in a process industry. You have good knowledge of PLC/HMI software for the various products as well as basic IT knowledge.

Required qualifications

• Knowledge in electrical engineering
• Experience in project management
• Knowledge in PLC programming (Siemens S7-1500, TIA portal and safety PLC)
• Knowledge in HMI (Human Machine Interface) systems
• Knowledge in drive systems from Siemens (Sinamics)
• Experience of design in ELPROCAD

Advantageous if you have

• Experience with Mitsubishi PLC, Eurotherm Epower, Lenze
