Automation Engineer

We are seeking an Automation Engineer to work within a global environment, collaborating across departments such as Maintenance, R&D, Operations Technology, and IT.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain global standards in the area
• Ensure machine safety
• Perform PLC programming
• Corrective and preventive maintenance
• Troubleshooting
• Project management
• Create electrical schematics in Elcad

Qualifications

• College/university degree in automation or electrical engineering
• Minimum five years of experience as an automation engineer, preferably in a process industry
• Strong knowledge of PLC/HMI software; experience with Siemens S7-1500, TIA portal and safety PLC
• Knowledge of HMI systems
• Knowledge of Siemens drive systems (Sinamics)
• Experience designing in ELPROCAD
• Experience with Mitsubishi PLC, Eurotherm EPowr, Lenze (advantage)

Language & Travel

Fluency in English for written and spoken communication and willingness to travel internationally.
