Responsibilities

In this position, you will collaborate daily with colleagues from various departments, including Maintenance, R&D, Operations Technology, and IT, to address a wide range of issues, design inquiries, and requests. The role is broad, allowing close cooperation across the organization and with international sites located in the United States, China, Mexico, and England. Your responsibilities include:

• Establish and maintain global standards in automation
• Ensure machine safety
• Perform PLC programming with Siemens S7-1500, TIA Portal and safety PLC
• Corrective and preventive maintenance
• Troubleshooting
• Project management
• Create electrical schematics in Elcad

Qualifications

Candidate should have:

• College/university degree in automation or electrical engineering
• At least five years of experience as an automation engineer, preferably in a process industry
• Strong knowledge of PLC programming (Siemens S7-1500, TIA Portal, safety PLC), HMI systems and drive systems (Siemens Sinamics)
• Basic IT knowledge
• Experience in project managementExperience in design using ELPROCAD
• English communication skills (written and spoken)

Preferred qualifications:

• Experience with Mitsubishi PLC, Eurotherm Epower, Lenze drives
• Experience in international environments
