In this role you will collaborate daily with Maintenance, R&D, Operations Technology, and IT to address a wide range of issues, design inquiries, and requests. You will support sites in the United States, China, Mexico, and England, requiring strong English communication skills and a willingness to travel.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain global standards in automation
• Ensure machine safety
• Perform PLC programming
• Conduct corrective and preventive maintenance
• Troubleshoot issues
• Manage projects
• Create electrical schematics in Elcad

Qualifications

• College/university degree in automation or electrical engineering
• At least five years of experience as an automation engineer, preferably in a process industry
• Solid knowledge of PLC/HMI software and basic IT concepts
• Electrical engineering fundamentals
• Project management experience
