Job summary

Cubane Solutions AB is seeking a Project Controller to lead financial planning, forecasting, and follow‑up for a portfolio of product development and customer projects in Sweden. You will monitor performance, identify risks, and support corrective actions, while analyzing profitability and investment proposals throughout the project lifecycle.

You will provide financial insights to project managers and leadership, develop reporting, and ensure transparent, fact‑based decision making.

Qualifications

• University degree in Finance, Business Admin, Industrial Economics, Engineering, or related field.
• Experience in controlling, financial analysis, project controlling, business controlling, or project management support.
• Strong analytical capabilities and ability to understand technical, commercial, and financial drivers.
• Experience with budgets, forecasts, business cases, and financial reporting.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills for non-financial stakeholders.
• Collaborative mindset and ability to build relationships across functions and levels.
• Professional English; Swedish knowledge is a plus.
• Experience from product development, industrial operations, manufacturing, or customer project environments is valued.

Responsibilities

• Lead financial planning, forecasting, and follow-up for a portfolio of product development and customer projects.
• Monitor project performance, identify risks and opportunities, support corrective actions.
• Analyze project profitability, business cases, and investment proposals.
• Support project managers and department leadership with financial insights and analyses.
• Develop and maintain project financial reporting, including budget tracking and cost development.
• Prepare decision materials and presentations for management and governance forums.
• Ensure financial transparency and fact-based decisions on priorities and investments.
• Perform ad hoc analyses on project performance and business development.
• Drive continuous improvement of project controlling processes, tools, and reporting.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across functions and communicate financial information clearly.
