Job summary

Kuba invites applications for a Finance Manager to lead the Scandinavian finance function, based in Stockholm or Copenhagen. You’ll oversee day-to-day financial operations across Sweden and Denmark, ensuring robust reporting, controls and business support.

Part of a global finance team, you’ll partner with project and operational teams to forecast, analyze variances and drive performance, while enabling scalable processes as the business grows.

Qualifications

• Professional accounting qualification (ACA/ACCA/CIMA or local equivalent).
• Experience as Senior Accountant or Assistant Finance Manager or similar role.
• Strong experience preparing management accounts and financial reporting.
• Solid understanding of month-end close processes and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Experience supporting external audits and statutory reporting.
• Good understanding of financial controls and accounting principles.
• Excellent Excel skills and experience using ERP or finance systems.
• Strong organisational skills with ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work with stakeholders across functions and countries.
• Fluency in English; Swedish or Danish knowledge is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Manage month-end and year-end close for Scandinavian businesses.
• Prepare monthly management accounts and financial reports with commentary.
• Perform balance sheet reconciliations and ensure accuracy of records.
• Support budgeting, forecasting and financial planning activities.
• Manage project accounting across Scandinavian portfolio including revenue, costs, margins and accruals.
• Oversee cash flow reporting and assist treasury activities.
• Support internal and external audits and respond to audit queries.
• Ensure compliance with local statutory, tax and regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate with external accountants, auditors and tax advisers as needed.
• Prepare VAT and other statutory returns with advisers.
• Assist in annual financial statement preparation and improve processes.
