Job summary

Perido AB is seeking a proactive Project Controller to join a world-leading transport solutions client in Södertälje. You will act as a finance partner to project managers, ensuring transparency and informed decisions across a portfolio of product development and customer projects.

The role requires on-site presence three days a week and offers exposure to engineering, sales, purchasing, production, and finance within a project-driven environment.

Qualifications

• A university degree in Finance, Business Administration, Industrial Economics, Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience in controlling, financial analysis, project controlling, business controlling, or project management support.
• Strong analytical capabilities and the ability to understand technical, commercial, and financial drivers.
• Experience working with budgets, forecasts, business cases, and financial reporting.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, enabling you to explain financial matters to non-financial stakeholders.
• A collaborative mindset and the ability to build strong relationships across functions and organizational levels.
• Professional proficiency in English.

Responsibilities

• Lead financial planning, forecasting, and follow-up for a portfolio of product development and customer projects.
• Monitor project performance, identify risks and opportunities, and proactively support corrective actions.
• Analyze project profitability, business cases, and investment proposals throughout the project lifecycle.
• Support project managers and department leadership with financial insights and performance analyses.
• Develop and maintain project financial reporting, including budget tracking, resource utilization, and cost development.
• Prepare decision material and presentations for management teams and governance forums.
• Ensure financial transparency and support fact-based decision-making regarding project priorities and investments.
• Perform ad hoc analyses related to project performance, portfolio management, and business development initiatives.
• Drive continuous improvement of project controlling processes, tools, and reporting methods.
