Job summary

WeQuel seeks a Project Controller in Södertälje to oversee financial control for a portfolio of product development and customer projects, partnering with project managers to ensure profitability and transparency throughout the lifecycle. You will analyse budgets, forecast performance and deliver project financial reporting while supporting strategic decisions.

The role includes collaboration across engineering, sales, purchasing, production and finance in a hybrid setup, with English

Qualifications

• Experience in controlling, financial analysis, project controlling or project management support.
• Experience with budgets, forecasts, business cases and financial reporting.
• Experience from product development, industrial operations, manufacturing or customer project environments is valued.
• Professional proficiency in English; knowledge of Swedish is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Financial planning, forecasting and follow-up for a portfolio of product development and customer projects.
• Monitoring of project performance.
• Identifying risks and opportunities, and proactively supporting corrective actions.
• Analysing project profitability, business cases and investment proposals throughout the project lifecycle.
• Financial insights and performance analyses for project managers and department leadership.
• Developing and maintaining project financial reporting, covering budget tracking, resource utilisation and cost development.
• Preparing decision material and presentations for management teams and governance forums.
• Keeping finances transparent and supporting fact-based decisions on project priorities and investments.
• Ad hoc analyses of project performance, portfolio management and business development initiatives.
• Continuous improvement of project controlling processes, tools and reporting methods.
